Brookstone Estates of Paris is Hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) - 1st Shift Near Paris, IL

Responsibilities:
- Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team in providing exceptional care experiences
- Coordinates the Community's infection control program while maintaining state regulatory compliance
- Develops and oversees the Community's medication management program
- Contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Complies with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of team members and resident information
- Conducts initial assessment of prospectiveresidents, including off-site visits (home visits, hospital visits)
- Performs wellness assessments and developsindividualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of eachresident
- Delivers health promotion services, offersdisease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residents
- Engages with residents and family members in acompassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Fosters communication by regularly engaging withphysicians, pertinent healthcare providers, and family members
- Maintains current state nursing licensure, RN preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years nursing supervisoryexperience
- Prior senior/supportive living experience stronglypreferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess leadership and supervisory abilityand the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire team members
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skillsand ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
